Alexandria Le

Piano Adjudicator

Dr. Alexandria Le is a concert pianist, educator, and arts leader recognized for her expressive depth and commitment to broadening access to classical music. Described as “a hyper-talented pianist whose greatest asset is her incomparable power to communicate” (Boston Musical Intelligencer), she has performed in world-class venues including Carnegie Hall and Salle Cortot, as well as underserved spaces such as Rikers Island and the Las Vegas Rescue Mission.

A laureate of over 20 first-prize awards—including the prestigious Pro Musicis International Award—Dr. Le is also a former fellow of Ensemble Connect (Carnegie Hall/The Juilliard School), during which she performed more than 60 concerts across New York City. She is returning artistic faculty of the PRISMA Festival in British Columbia and in Las Vegas serves as President & Artistic Director of Notes with a Purpose, a Las Vegas–based nonprofit that has brought transformational music experiences to more than 12,500 children and 4,000 adults. Dr. Le also serves as Artistic Director of RDA Performs at the Rita Deanin Abbey Art Museum and maintains an active performing schedule while teaching privately and at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. 

Dr. Le holds three degrees in piano performance, including a Doctor of Musical Arts from SUNY Stony Brook and a Bachelor of Music from the Eastman School of Music. Her solo and collaborative recordings are available through Centaur Records. She is a Yamaha Artist and resides in Las Vegas with her partner and German Shepherd.

Noémie Raymond

Strings Adjudicator

Praised for the richness of her tone and the intensity of her stage presence, cellist Noémie Raymond is establishing herself as one of the distinctive voices of her generation. Ludwig Van (2024) lauded her “impeccable bow control and warm vibrato,” while her album Dialogues, with pianist Zhenni Li-Cohen, was hailed by World Music Report as “an essential choice.”

She has performed in renowned venues including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, Oji Hall in Tokyo, and will appear in October 2025 at the Berlin Philharmonie. She has collaborated with artists such as Midori, Pinchas Zukerman, and Jan Lisiecki, as well as with the National Arts Centre Orchestra.

A laureate of the Schadt String International Competition and the Tremplin International, Raymond was named by CBC in 2018 among the 30 Hot Canadian Classical Musicians Under 30. Committed to cultural outreach, she has participated in initiatives supporting underprivileged communities in Japan and Cambodia, and serves on the faculties of the Heifetz International Music Institute and Festival del Lago in Mexico.

Joenne Dumitrascu

New York-based Canadian professional musician Joenne Dumitrascu began her musical studies at the age of six and continued in the pre-college division of the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) in Toronto, pursuing both violin and piano training. She continued college studies at the RCM’s Glenn Gould Professional School (B. Mus., A.D.), The Boston Conservatory at Berklee College (M.M.), and furthered her training with additional studies in Europe. Dumitrascu completed her Doctorate in Musical Arts at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

The winner of the 2011 Glenn Gould Chamber Music Competition, Dumitrascu was invited to make her orchestral debut at the age of 14 with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra. She has toured internationally and performed at such venues as the Canadian Broadcasting Company’s Glenn Gould Studio, Koerner Hall, Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, La Scala, and the Romanian Atheneum and regularly recorded for CBC in Toronto, WGBH in Boston, WFMT Chicago, NBC, and ABC. As an orchestral player, Dumitrascu was Concertmaster of the Boston Opera Co. and has performed in the orchestra of the National Ballet of Canada and the Canadian Opera Company.

As a collaborative pianist, Dumitrascu has worked as an audition coach for opera and musical theater in Boston, NYC, and Toronto where she was a collaborative pianist for vocal diction classes in the undergraduate voice program at the Royal Conservatory.

Outside of classical music, Dumitrascu has worked on several film and TV projects, including Atom Egoyan’s 2009 movie Chloe, Resident Evil 7, the History Channel, as well as recording work with the Screen Composers’ Guild of Canada. As a crossover artist, she has performed as backup musician for Dr. Draw, Carrie Underwood, and Il Divo.

Dumitrascu is Chair at JSE Music Education, an elite pre-college music training program in NYC. She was featured on Canada’s Quebec-based documentary TV show, Les enfants prodigés, which showcased her day to day coaching work with young artists. Her students’ ensemble (JSE Ensemble) has performed at the White House Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, Good Morning America, Ravinia Festival, and Carnegie Hall. From 2015 to 2021 she was a chamber music coach in the undergraduate program at SUNY Stony Brook. Dumitrascu is also the Artistic Director of the Solomon Mikowsky International Music Competition for young artists and she regularly appears as guest lecturer and clinician.
